Laser-Augmented Silicon Photonics

SCINTIL Photonics is a fabless company developing and commercializing laser-integrated photonics for the AI data center. Based on SCINTIL Heterogeneous Integrated Photonics (SHIPTM) technology, we enable low-latency, high-density and power-efficient ultra-high-speed optical interconnects.​

SHIPTM technology combines the best of silicon and indium phosphide photonics through a unique die-to-wafer bonding of III-V material on silicon and leverages commercial semiconductor foundries to mass produce its enhanced silicon photonic integrated circuits. The technology originated more than 15 years ago at CEA-Leti in France, one of the world's leading semiconductor research institutes, and has been commercialized by SCINTIL.
